A meeting was held to present the project and establish a cooperation channel.
On May 7, in the city of Paranaguá, Brazil, the consortium TTP76 presented the project P76 to Port Authorities, Customs and other involved bodies, together with the client Petrobras Netherland BV.
Techint Offshore Unit’s representatives detailed the investments for the expansion of the area and wharf, the environmental and social work, such as the construction and restoration of two schools in Pontal do Paraná, and other activities related to the qualification and professional development of local workers, such as the Pronatec programme or the Supervisors training programme made together with Petrobras.
They also went over the authorization to operate the Special Customs Regime, emphasising the importance of the IN513, its benefits, obligations and the challenge that the whole team of the consortium Tecnip-Techint has ahead of them.
At the event attended representantives of APPA (Administration of Ports of Antonina y Paranaguá), of the Antaq (the Brazilian Waterway Transport National Agency) and of the Brazilian treasury.
